2.1 Educational Workshops

Our primary product is access to paid workshops focused on gross motor development strategies for children, designed to support parents and caregivers in implementing effective movement-based activities at home.

These workshops may be delivered in-person or online and are educational in nature.

2.2 Paediatric Physiotherapy Services

We also provide in-person paediatric physiotherapy sessions, which may take place in dynamic, real-world environments such as:

  • Beaches

  • Climbing gyms

  • Outdoor walking or hiking locations

  • Other suitable community settings

These services are tailored to the individual needs of the child and aim to support functional movement development in natural environments. The physiotherapist will be in an advisory role, delegating and advising on how carers can safely navigate the challenging environments with their clients.

3. Medical & Health Disclaimer

Our workshops and services are intended to support general physical development and wellbeing. They do not replace:

  • Individualised medical diagnosis

  • Personalised treatment from a healthcare provider

Participation in any activity or implementation of strategies is undertaken at your own discretion. You should seek medical advice where appropriate.

4. Booking & Attendance Policy

  • Bookings are required for all workshops and physiotherapy sessions.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you can attend at the scheduled time and location.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, safety concerns, or provider availability).

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellations

We maintain a flexible cancellation approach:

  • No late cancellation fees apply to any workshop bookings.

  • Cancellations for individually booked, one to one physiotherapy sessions may incur if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the appointment.

  • Clients are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible out of respect for scheduling and availability.

5.2 Workshop Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 48-hour full refund policy for workshop purchases:

  • If you are not satisfied with the workshop, you may request a full refund within 48 hours after the workshop concludes.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email (mail@firstmoverkids.com.au).

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL:

  • Services must be provided with due care and skill

  • Services must be fit for purpose

  • You may be entitled to remedies such as refunds or re-services where these guarantees are not met

Our voluntary refund policy operates in addition to your rights under the ACL.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in activities unless caused by our negligence.

  • You acknowledge that participation in physical activities carries inherent risks.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children where required.
